Gear Guide
It is not easy to find a good gear for a good quality price. This topic raises a lot of doubts and questions, mostly because all of the different information that is available and also because most of the products that are available in the USA are not available in Europe.
Over the years I´ve been testing some products and at the moment this is my ultimate gear guide for spending 4 days hiking the dolomites.
We can divide it in 4 major categories - Eat, Sleep, Wear and Equipment
Eat
Without fire, we can´t do nothing in the outdoors. So the most important rule is that you have always a way to produce fire. ´ The next most important survival rule is to always have water with you. Without water, we can´t survive, so if for some reason you have an accident, make sure to have enough water until you can get some help.
1) Lighter or matches or my favor - a fire started magnesium bar.
2) Cooking Set
3) Be Free filter - allows to filter water from any water source
4) Isostar- electrolytes are an essential because it allows you to stay hydrated
5) Food as you need - for me oatmeals and coffee are essential

2) Tent
3) Sleeping pads
